Working at sea as a seafarer comes with many pluses. The travel, the sense of freedom, the opportunity to see Mother Nature at her wildest and most awe-inspiring, and the strong bonds and friendships created while working at sea jobs.

But, as with any job, whether you’re on land or in the middle of the ocean, there can be a downside Some seafarers will tell you, it is homesickness.
